We embarked on our road trip from Reykjavik, heading north to Buoakirkja to visit the popular black church. After spending a few days exploring the area, we began our long drive south towards Fauskasandur, with a journey time of approximately 8 hours. Along the way, we made a stop in Vik for a couple of days, taking advantage of the local accommodation and enjoying the incredible landscape and of course weather that Iceland has to offer. Finally, we made our way back to Reykjavik, concluding our memorable journey.
